I had a dream last night, I had a dream,
I dreamed I was lost in darkness
perishing for a light.
I dreamed I called out your name
I called to you in fright.
You couldn't answer me
you can't hear me any more.
I had dream last night
someone tell me what's left to dream for!
I had a dream last night.
And as I dreamed I screamed your name
But you can't hear me any more!
Why did you comfort me so long
if you had to leave?
Why did you let me grow so close
and then be gone.
I had a dream last night! I had dream.
And in the dark I dreamed last night,
I dreamed you came back.
I had dream last night, and you came back
I dreamed I called out your name!
In the dark I screamed in fright!
You can't come back again, and I am perishing for the light!
