Let me die, oh please let me die
I can't withstand the weight of this accursed existence
Dragging me down like a load of bricks
Burying my soul under layer upon layer of dark despair.

I want to break away, spread my wings
Rise in the warm currents of sweet freedom
Never to wear these hated chains
Of what you call life, of what I call hell.

Let me die, oh please let me die
Why go on with this mockery?
Ever since the blessed blindness of innocence was lost,
All I've known is the tiring burden of knowing.

Knowing that love is a lie
Knowing that peace is a lie
Knowing that justice is a lie
Knowing that true beauty is a lie.

Because the only true love embrace comes from death
The only lasting peace comes from death
The only justice of equality comes from death
The most serene beauty comes from death.

So let me die, oh please let me die...
